ONCE MORE IN A  Z4!

DAY ONE

 08.18.2007

THE RIDE!

THE ROUTE

THE SWAG!

THE GREEN SHORTS!

We did our first lunch in the celebratory fashion as we have since the great convoy of 01.

First class dining at Mac's Steakhouse just no double cheeseburgers hold the meat this time.

Some people think Kalifornia blows..

Well at least they put it to good use.....

RedRocketRoadster?

Just a slight infringment Bill.....

The Saxon Aerospace Museum.

Although this Smithsonian quality display was very tempting...

It is clearly not the BEST that the city of Boron has to offer!

We're talking the world renowned Twenty Mule Borax Museum.

BTW The temp dropped down 102°

and

I had to put on my sweat shirt so I didn't catch a chill...

Barbara, The Belle of Boron, was our personal guide/ museum director

 and personal shopper

was a great help in selecting RoadsterLes's Borific birthday gift.

Happy **th birthday Leslie we luv ya!

Ureka!!  We possibly found the DuckMobile or perhaps the NEW Packermobile!

Good Ole Ralph leaning on his tag clarified non Z3!

Ralph and Pam treated the "entire" convoy to a bbq steak dinner with all the trimmings.

Blaine was a bit disappointed he missed the spagetti buffet at the River Palms... NOT

We know ZeattleDave purchased a new ride but an HHR?*

* Deep joke of the day.

DAY TWO

08.19.2007

As we departed Laughlin the thanks for visiting sign came into view.

Not all rocks in Arizona are baad.

When we stopped for gas in Williams and the temperature had dropped below 80.

This was the most expensive gas of the trip, $3.69/gal and it was the worst running tank.

Crossing the Continental Divide (see small red arrow) at 80 MPH.

Check that off the list.

This is why we have GPS!

The planned highlight of the day was closed and we weren't able to feed the snakes.  Bummer!

But the security system was turned on....

"Blaine, now why am I standing in the doorway?"

YOUR CAPTION HERE

For a short field piece, it uses really big balls.

This picture cost us two bucks

 but

at the end of the day we like to take care of our own.
