DAY NUMBER EIGHT

08.23.2008

JTP tries his hand at wildlife photography.........a racoon is in the tree.

At least that is what John told us, of course he also didn't see the bouy line......

O' Dark thirty departure some dress better than others early in the morning.

Well at least some dress that is.....

Thanks Kim and John.

We have it on good legal authority that the crane has been declared the state bird of Wisconsin.

Captured this one at 70 mph.

The Illinois welcome wagon greeting arriving visitors.

One of our first pictures of police that doesn't involve an unamed Packer fan.

Course we didn't really have time to see who was driving.

Weren't sure if they were advertising the 1 series or Kentucky's finest bourbon.

I believe that car color is Johnny Walker Red.

Bristolized?  We warned him about getting involved with the Carl and Kyle show.

If Tom knew there was a direct connection from Ritzville International,

he culda missed the whole Reuben Omelette incident.

World's Largest (or at least the largest we've seen) popcorn popper.

Click on the giant popper to link to gpopper.com

Decisions..decisions.....................

Close call but, Homecoming wins over Indiana's Largest...................

Those spurs are gonna leave a mark!

LDR (Llama Ddrama Rreport) time.................................

Blaine found out Llama judge negotiating is a tough business.

And this is for 2009's Grass Valley show!

Finally...........Blaine is truly in the South.

Sweet tea.........fried chicken.....creamed spinach..........corn..............mac and cheese

 at

the World Famous Flying J Buffet!!!!

Blaine's buddy Mike got us tickets to the Indianapolis Gun Show.

Don't wory Leslie, Blaine was very frugal in his purchases....

It was a hot day and Tom sought shelter where only a secure man could.

Now we know where Tony George put all those bricks.

The Vortex Green Machine (aka the green hornet) is an imposing sight at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Tom said "go ahead inside to take pictures. I'll guard the car...........trust me"

"Tom are you sure it's OK, it is kinda dark down here?"

"If you can't trust me who can you trust?"

"OK"

Blaine did manage a few shots from inside The Racing Capital of the World.

Prior to a itsy bitsy teeny weeny brush with IMS security.

Hmmmm....  Blaine felt safe with security around....  But....

Apparently their job was not to keep Blaine secure...

The Race Track Police requested Blaine to depart from the premises,

How did we know the closed sign and chain link fence meant "everyone" stay out.

"But I'm from Z3BigDaddy.com and I can make your track world famous!'

He even tried the "I didn't see the bouy line" defense, but lying should be left to the professionals.

The patrol vehicle was pretty dang cool!

Civil War Soldiers and Sailors Monument in Downtown Indianapolis.

Obelisk* World War Memorial.

Part of a well maintained six square block memorial to public architecture, landscape and history.

*Tom and his big words!

Get me to the Scottish Rite Cathedral on time..........

Sorry honey...............no run away Bride today.

The knot is already tied.......

 Blaine's bed partner tonight..................hope she doesn't snore.

On to day 9........laundry...catch up on sleep..........wash the car ..... prepare a gourmet dinner.
