DAY NUMBER FIVE
08.20.2008
Day 5 started in Malta, MT. We had to stop at this coffee shop to post day 4.
No, Tom is really not signaling the California howdy with his right had.
Thanks H & R Block.
We confirmed that Colonel Parker had fallen on hard times after Elvis passed.
OR
Proof that Elvis is indeed still alive and well at the Parker Kings Ranch?
Blaine's first attempt at matching Tom's world famous wildlife photography.
No Blaine,a porcupine still life does not count!
Catchy name. Probably would make a good song title.
Giznaz told us to "fly low".
TexZan in town? Shulda signed the hood then!
Heads up for those that can't afford ZSCCA membership dues.
We're just sayin......
Found Carlos's Cantina... I know Carlos works for Boeing and all...
but
I'm just a bit nervous now about the fan belt change he did.....
Dad...........you in there?
You know they towed the car at 3:00 AM this morning?
Bummer, he would pick Wednesday to park here?
Now I have to bail him and the car out of protective custody..........
Still evaluating alternatives.
This one has more trunk space than the roadster, but the rims need some help.
Either get that &*%$ Magellan fixed or get me a chainsaw.
We tried to have lunch at the Country Club, we had the collared shirts.
But the damn Kalifornian's shorts were above the knees....
Denied!!
Today was our "largest" day of the trip.
First off there is the World's Largest metal sculpture (at 70 mph).
And the back of the W/L sculpture in the side view mirror.
Since Tom wouldn't let Blaine stop... Yeah Blaine has issues.. ;-)
Sign announcing the W/L Holstein Cow.
She obviously has solid financial backing.
W/L Holstein in all her 75 MPH glory.
On to the W/L Buffalo.
W/L Buffalo looming over a bug encrusted roadster.
Blaine evaluating the WL Buffalo.
Lets just say Blaine had a little buffalo envy...
More issues for not feeling so Big Daddy.
Tom and an old geezer ( Tom is the one on the left) on the porch discussing the size of buffalo back in the day.
"Excuse me while I whip this out."
Rolling into Fargo, ND, the trusty green hornet racks up another historic milestone.
280,000 miles!!!!!
End of 610 mile day at Fargo.
Time to unpack............... to another night of crappy internet.
On to Mark, Skyler, John and Kim in the morning....
